Why is acrylic considered for some moisture-sensitive applications?Acrylic media can offer a useful hydrolysis-resistance route in suitable duties, but temperature, gas chemistry, condensation and the exact grade still need application review.
Is acrylic a direct replacement for polyester?Not automatically. The collector, temperature, chemistry, dust, cleaning system, dimensions and current failure mode should be compared before changing media.
