When should PTFE filter bags be considered?PTFE is typically evaluated when the combination of temperature, chemistry, moisture and emissions requirement makes conventional media unsuitable. The complete duty should be reviewed before selection.
Does PTFE automatically mean the lowest pressure drop?No. Differential pressure depends on media construction, membrane, dust cake, air-to-cloth ratio, cleaning and operating conditions, not polymer name alone.
