Legacy baghouses often contain modified components or parts whose original OEM number is no longer available. A disciplined identification request can still narrow the replacement quickly.
Start with the subsystem
Classify the component before searching by appearance.
- Pulse cleaning
- Bag / cage support
- Monitoring and control
- Dust discharge / drive
- Access, sealing or safety
Capture all markings
Photograph nameplates, cast markings, coil voltage, pressure rating, thread markings, controller labels and any OEM part number.
Measure the interfaces
The connection to the existing equipment is often more important than the overall appearance.
- Port / thread size and standard
- Flange drilling
- Coil voltage / electrical connection
- Pressure range
- Shaft diameter / keyway
- Mounting-hole pattern
Send context with the photo
Include collector OEM / model if known, plant tag number, quantity installed, failure mode and required shutdown date. Masturlal can then assess direct replacement versus engineered alternative.
