Equipment geometry
Provide drawings where available or a complete dimensional survey with photographs and obstruction details.
Thermal duty
State normal and peak surface temperature, ambient conditions and the objective: energy conservation, personnel protection, freeze protection or process stability.
Environment
Outdoor weather, chemical splash, oil exposure, vibration and frequent washdown can change the outer fabric and closure selection.
Maintenance access
Define which valves, bolts, instruments or inspection points must remain accessible and how frequently the cover will be removed.
Identification and installation
Tagging, orientation marks and fastening layout help repeated removal and refitting during maintenance.
